PURPOSE OF POST
To be responsible for the management, security, maintenance and improvement of a high-quality learning environment incorporating all school grounds, buildings, equipment and facilities, working within Trust procedures and protocols and under the guidance of the Headteacher.
Whilst this role is 36.66 hours per week: to support the operational needs of the school it is expected that the postholder be responsible for the opening and closing of the school site however specific working times/hours will be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant and will be agreed in advance.
Alongside the St Matthews Primary School the Trust is made up of primary and secondary schools across Oldham and Rochdale. The Trust also incorporates a teacher training school and the East Manchester Teaching Hub and an MFL hub, which support the training and development of new and existing teachers across the North West of England. This position will be based at St Matthew Primary School, Oldham but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.
