Job Title: Handyman – Refurbishment Project
Location: Chesterfield
Rate: £15.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate Start
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable labourer o join our team on a refurbishment project in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to support the smooth progress of the project.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out general repair and maintenance works on site
2. Assisting with basic carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks
3. Installing fixtures, fittings, and minor joinery work as required
4. Supporting trades on site with various tasks during the refurbishment
5. Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
6. Performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs (where qualified)
7. Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
8. Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
10. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
11. Own basic tools and PPE
12. CSCS card preferred but not essential
