HR Officer – Rotherham – £30,000 - £40,000 DOE – Full or Part Time – Flexible Hours

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will provide day-to-day HR operational support, ensuring compliance, promoting a positive culture, and helping the business continue its impressive growth journey.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
* Manage employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, disciplinary meetings, and absence reviews.
* Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
* Assist with performance reviews, training needs, and employee development planning.
* Maintain accurate HR systems and records, ensuring data integrity in partnership with the HR Administrator.
* Collate and prepare monthly payroll information.
* Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures.
* Prepare HR reports and KPI data for the Board of Directors.
* Support employee wellbeing initiatives including health surveillance and MHFA/first aid training.
* Act as a trusted advisor and mediator, fostering a supportive and respectful workplace.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety processes with the ability to oversee documentation, inductions, and support incident investigations.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive.
* Experience supporting payroll and HR systems.
* CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards).
* A “salt of the earth” HR professional with a practical, hands-on approach and strong values.
