The Role
We are seeking a Trainee Sales Executive to join our Renault / Dacia dealership in Basingstoke. Working as part of an experienced team and reporting to the Sales Manager, you will apply yourself in a busy customer-facing environment. Customer satisfaction and Loyalty is the key to your success and we will encourage you to build relationships with our existing customers. What do we expect from you as Sales executive?
Our Sales Executives represent both Martins Group and Renault / Dacia. They become part of a sales team that is both united by their experienced and yet diverse in personality and background. You will meet with customers that make their enquiries face to face, over the phone or via the internet. You will manage these enquiries with courtesy and professionalism, resulting in vehicle, finance and insurance product sales. You will then guarantee an excellent customer experience before and during the vehicle collection, ensuring that all options are tailored to the customer needs and lifestyle.
On a day to day basis you will:
* Make regular contact with new and existing customers to maintain a supporting relationship.
* Offer advice and guidance to our existing finance customers as they reach the end of their current contracts. Appointing as many as possible to the showroom so that they may discuss in great detail the options available to them.
* Respond to incoming queries quickly, efficiently and professionally.
* Guide customers through their Used car purchases, providing outstanding customer service as a representative of both Martins and Volkswagen.
* Achieve both individual and Team sales targets by maximising the upsell opportunities from finance insurance products and accessories.
* Maintain an outstanding knowledge of the Volkswagen range of vehicles and options, by completing regular training sessions online and at training centres.
* Offer a fully compliant process, adhering to all industry regulations relating to the sale of vehicles, finance and insurance.
The key attributes we look for are:
* At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales position, Volkswagen or Motor Industry experience is an advantage, but not essential.
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
* A confidence and ability to negotiate with customers to convert enquiries in to sales.
* You should be presentable, articulate and numerate.
* You will be capable of embracing new technologies and be able to demonstrate them enthusiastically and in great detail to customers.

£40,000.00 OTE per year
Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 6pm
Saturday – 8:30am to 5pm
Sunday – 10am to 4pm
Schedule:
* Monday to Saturday (Day off during week)
* Alternate Sundays
