Would you like to make a difference? Are you committed to giving children the best start in life? We would like to appoint a Family Learning Mentor to deliver the highest quality provision to children in our school.
Our vision is to enable every child to ‘Shine bright their light’ and we need your help. Family support is about empowering families through personalised advice and support to find solutions and make positive changes to improve home and family life. The successful candidate will work within our school to help children and families with any difficulties they are experiencing. You will be here to listen, offer support and practical advice. Working with both individual and groups of children, Teachers, Parents/Carers, Schools and External Agencies you will be able to support and encourage both pupils and families to overcome challenges and any barriers to achieve effective learning both inside and outside the school.
The post is to work with families and children in the school from 2 to 11 years from 8.45am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday term time only. Some flexibility to start earlier or stay later on some days may be required. We would like the successful candidate to start work as soon as possible.
