Position Overview
As the Sales Support – Estimating and Scheduling professional, you’ll be the linchpin that connects the sales team with production and installation. Your work will ensure that projects run smoothly, from generating precise estimates to coordinating the schedules that keep everything on track. With a mix of client-facing interaction and operational coordination, you’ll be key to delivering outstanding results for their customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimating

* Work closely with the sales team to produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for stone worktops and glass splashback projects.

* Analyse architectural drawings, measurements, and project specs to calculate materials and labour costs.

* Deliver clear, detailed quotations to clients, ensuring all requirements are covered.

* Stay updated on industry trends, pricing structures, and materials (granite, quartz, marble, glass) to ensure estimates remain competitive.

2. Scheduling

* Coordinate production and installation schedules with internal teams to maximise efficiency and meet project deadlines.

* Monitor progress and adjust schedules where necessary, keeping everyone informed of changes.

* Track project milestones and proactively identify potential delays.

* Liaise with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials.

3. Customer Interaction

* Act as the point of contact for clients regarding estimates, schedules, and timelines.

* Ensure a high level of customer service, providing regular updates to manage expectations and address concerns.

* Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless handover from sales through to production and installation.

4. Documentation & Reporting

* Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system for estimates, schedules, and client interactions.

* Prepare reports for management, tracking estimated costs vs. actuals, and flagging any potential scheduling conflicts.

What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills:

* Experience in sales support, estimating, or scheduling, ideally within construction, interior design, or stone/glass industries.

* Strong numerical and analytical skills—accuracy is key!

* Proven experience with CRM systems and project management tools.

* Great communication skills—you’re confident talking to clients and internal teams.

* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

* Familiarity with stone materials (granite, quartz, marble) and fabrication processes is a plus.

Education:

* Degree in business, construction management, or a related field is a plus. Relevant experience is also considered
