The position is based at their cutting-edge facility in Farnborough, where innovation meets strategy in groundbreaking technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading the Data Fabric architecture end-to-end: including integration, processing, storage, metadata/lineage, governance and consumption patterns
2. Establishing and maintaining the architecture roadmap, encompassing technology evolution, capability increments and deployment waves across environments
3. Directing architecture for data integration and interoperability, implementing strategies for connectors, data sharing patterns and cross-domain data exchange approaches
4. Translating high-level architectural intent into reference architectures, patterns, and guardrails to ensure repeatable delivery by the engineering team
5. Running architecture governance and assurance, leading comprehensive data modelling across conceptual, logical, and physical levels
6. Providing hands-on leadership to a team of Data Fabric Engineers and Data Analysts, ensuring the platform's security, scalability, resilience, and operability as it evolves
