Quality Manager - Assisted Conception Service

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
The Assisted Conception Service (ACS) at Glasgow Royal Infirmary is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Manager. The ACS underwent major refurbishment of laboratory facilities, outpatients and clinical treatment suite and re‑opened in September 2014. The new facilities provide state‑of‑the‑art equipment and a comprehensive range of clinical techniques, offering a high standard of treatment tailored to suit individual patient needs.
The Quality Manager will work as part of the scientific service and will be a key member of the wider ACS multidisciplinary team. The post holder will direct and manage the performance and delivery of an effective and efficient Quality Management System and will be responsible for quality monitoring to attain and maintain regulatory and accreditation requirements as defined by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) and the Human Fertilisation and Embryology (HFE) Act. The Quality Manager will also be responsible for the delivery of Directorate projects and work streams and the provision of audit training to clinical and scientific staff.
Qualifications: A Life Sciences degree with a relevant MSc or equivalent is essential. Candidates must also have specialist knowledge and previous experience of leading and directing Quality Management Systems. A postgraduate qualification in quality management is desirable.
