Your new role
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage Ipsum client sites.
Principal Accountabilities
* Working as Principal Contractor
* Overseeing electrical and mechanical installations
* Collaborating with and updating the Project Manager
* Supervising project execution, ensuring client specifications are met, and reviewing progress
* Liaising with clients, construction professionals, and the public as needed
* Coordinating and supervising construction personnel
* Checking plant and equipment for suitability
* Conducting safety inspections and maintaining site safety
* Maintaining quality control procedures
* Preparing site reports and updating safety files
* Conducting site inductions
* Fault finding and problem solving
* Assessing and minimizing risks

Qualifications
* Site Management Safety Training Scheme card
* First Aid at Work (or willingness to train)
* CSCS manager’s card
Knowledge & Experience
* Previous site management experience in the utilities sector
* Experience with CDM regulations
* Experience in civil construction
* Mechanical, electrical, or construction industry experience
Skills & Personal Qualities
* Exceptional communication skills
* Strong initiative
* Ability to build excellent working relationships
* Good time management and planning skills
