Job Title: SEMH Learning MentorLocation: Wandsworth, London Employment Type: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm) Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Learning Mentor to join our team in Wandsworth, London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and fostering a positive educational environment. Key Responsibilities: •Provide individualised support to students, implementing tailored strategies to enhance their social, emotional, and academic development. •Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create a holistic support system for students. •Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting on outcomes. •Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting positive behavior and emotional wellbeing. •Deliver group and one-on-one interventions focused on emotional regulation, resilience, and self-esteem. Qualifications: •Relevant experience in an educational or support role, specifically with SEMH students. •Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective intervention strategies. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues. •A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
