The Sales Team

The Belfry Hotel & Resort Sales Team won themiaList Best Sales and Marketing Team, a testament to their excellent customerrelationships and results-driven work ethics. Our sales office is a fast-paced,supportive environment, with people who are passionate about delivering greatservice and achieving their potential.


About the Role

As a C&ESales Executive you will be responsible for supporting the sales team to achieve theirtargets in line with budget.The successful applicant will support theteam by undertaking day to day enquiry handling and event co-ordination,ensuring The Belfry standards are maintained.

You will also be responsible for:

* Following the hotel sales process, hotel showrounds and sales efforts, customer entertaining, forecasting and space releasepolicy, event management procedures and policies, billing policies are correctand followed
* Directly answers all incoming groupinquiries/opportunities
* Being the point of contact with the customerfor all pre planning details
* Creatingevent function sheets to ensure clients requirements are accurately documentedand distributed to the wider resort
* Generalcall handling to discuss event details including using questioning techniquesand handling objections
* Conductingface to face site visits/menu tastings and final detail calls
* Bookingand attending client pre & post event meetings
* Assist in taking enquiries and covering thephones during busy period


About you

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of1 years’ experience in a mid to large hotel sales team and possessexcellent verbal & written communication skills.

In addition, you will be:

* Methodical - accurate & ability to work on own initiative, with outstanding attention to detail
* Computer literate, with experience of hotel PMS. i.e. Delphi & Opera
* Sales focused and enthusiastic, with excellent customer service skills
* Flexible and capable of working well within a team.
