Are you an organised, proactive HR professional with experience in a warehouse or logistics setting?
If so, we want to hear from you! We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to support large operational teams with efficiency and care.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our HR Officer, you'll serve as the vital link between our warehouse operations and Head office HR team. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Coordinate the hiring and onboarding of warehouse staff (including pickers, loaders, and drivers)
* Maintain accurate shift schedules, headcount reports, absenteeism, and overtime logs
* Respond to employee queries regarding attendance, payroll, and ID cards
* Support training initiatives, health & safety compliance, and workforce planning
* Ensure all employment offers, working hours, and conditions meet legal and company standards
Administration, Policy & Compliance
* Keep staff documentation and contracts up to date and compliant
* Liaise with staffing agencies when needed
* Track and manage uniform, ID, and PPE distribution
* Provide accurate attendance data to support payroll and reporting
* Draft and maintain HR policies and procedural updates
What We’re Looking For
* 1–3 years' experience in an HR or administrative role within warehousing, logistics, or e-commerce
* Strong skills in Excel, organisation, and people coordination
* Solid understanding of UK labour law and shift-based workforce planning
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage time-sensitive issues independently
* A valid driver's license and access to a car (site is not accessible via public transport)
