Job Description
Location: Abingdon Manor, 949 Crumlin Road
Electus Healthcare is recruiting for a Cook. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced, forward-thinking Cook to lead the catering team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and committed to using fresh ingredients to deliver high-quality meals and beverages to residents.
Responsibilities
* Plan, order supplies, prepare, and present high-quality food and beverages.
* Ensure all food preparation complies with COSHH, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
* Manage food budgets and stock, and place orders.
* Check deliveries and store supplies appropriately.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
* Manage kitchen staff, including training, recruiting, and scheduling.
* Work 25 hours per week, with a mix of day shifts over a 7-day rota.
Requirements
* Level 2 in Food Safety.
* Minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role.
Full training and support will be provided to maintain high catering standards.
