The Company
A well leading media company with a presence across the UK and online. They have offices in central London but are remote first and tend to meet up once a month or for important meetings / events. They have an established developmet team, due to continued growth and some exciting upcoming projects are looking for an additional Senior WordPress engineer to join the team.
The Role
* Maintain and develop new WordPress features
* Build and maintain plugins
* Work on maintain microservices and JavaScript elements of the stack which work alongside WordPress
* Prioritise your work load and lease with colleagues in other teams to ensure collaboration
* Ability to work within a fast paced environment
Requirements
* Extensive experience with WordPress
* Strong knowledge of Gutenberg and best practices
* Ability to create custom Gutenberg blocks
* Knowledge of PHP, HTML and CSS
* Front End development experience in JavaScript and React
* Knowledge of VCS and Git
* Ability to communicate your ways of working and collaborate with team members
