The Dulwich School Cranbrook is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated Catering Manager to manage our school kitchen and ensure our pupils receive healthy, high-quality meals every day. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives while leading a friendly, professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in line with school food standards
· Manage kitchen staff, rotas, and daily operations
· Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance
· Monitor food quality, stock levels, and budgets
· Cater for a range of dietary and allergy requirements
· Work closely with school leaders to promote healthy eating initiatives
· Oversee catering for school events, functions and hospitality
What we're Looking For:
· Experience in catering or kitchen management (school or similar environment preferred)
· Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (Level 3 desirable)
· Strong leadership and organisational skills
· A genuine interest in child nutrition and wellbeing
· Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
· A proactive, can-do attitude with both attention to detail, and creative flair in menu planning and service deliver
