As Human Resources Manager you will have a focus on Employee Relations, you will drive the execution of employee relations strategies and play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's culture and employee experience. Your primary responsibility will be to manage, resolve, and prevent employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and positive workplace environment. You will collaborate with business leaders to address employee concerns, develop solutions, and ensure successful implementation across all levels and functions.
Humans Resources Manager duties include:
* Assist in managing and developing a HR team of 12
* Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution
* Assist in the interpretation and application of company policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance with legal requirements
* Conduct employee exit interviews to understand themes, address issues, and inform recommendations to improve employee experience continuously
* Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including conducting thorough and objective investigations
* Document and maintain accurate records of all employee relations issues and actions taken
* Facilitate the review and development of policies and procedures to reflect the needs of a growing and dynamic business, ensuring alignment with UK employment laws and regulations
* Ensure that all policies are communicated effectively to employees and managers
* Design and deliver training programs on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution, effective communication, and management best practices
* Coach and mentor managers on how to handle employee relations issues effectively
Ideal Candidate:
* Extensive HR Experience: 5-8 years of Human Resources experience, with a strong focus on Employee Relations
* UK Employment Law Expertise: In-depth knowledge and practical experience of UK employment laws, regulations, and best practices
* Employee Relations: Proven track record in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and investigations
* Performance Management: Experience in advising and supporting managers with employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution
