Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Building Division and lead a project in the Midlands. You will play a crucial role in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. We’re looking for a candidate with a strong drive to excel and deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all on-site operations and subcontractors
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
• Drive programme delivery and report progress to senior leadership
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Champion a proactive, safety-first, and solutions-driven site culture
Requirements:
Essential Technical Competencies:
• Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
Desirable:
• Experience delivering projects across Residential, Commercial, Healthcare or Education sectors.
• Working knowledge of BIM processes, 4D sequencing, or digital construction methodologies.
• Experience managing complex or multi phase developments.
Essential Behavioural Competencies:
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, influence, and drive team performance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• High level of organisation, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Committed to a safety first culture, actively promoting safe behaviours on site.
Desirable:
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members, supporting future talent pathways.
• Confident in representing the project at client meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder forums.
• Innovative thinker who proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
