About The Role
We’re looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong backend experience in Symfony and third-party integrationsto join our team. You’ll work closely with the Lead Developer and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, testable code that drives our projects forward. This is a Hybrid role based at Barton-upon-Humber, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. What Wren offer:

Key Responsibilities:
9. Read, understand, and deliver on development tickets.
10. Contribute to backlog refinement, technical refinement, and sprint planning.
11. Write modular, test-driven code with a focus on quality and maintainability.
12. Collaborate with testing and staging teams to ensure smooth releases.
13. Take ownership of your work throughout the full development lifecycle.
About You
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
14. 2+ years’ experience with Object-Oriented PHP
15. Experience with modern frameworks (Symfony or Laravel)
16. Proficiency with Composer, Git, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
17. Knowledge of React or other frontend frameworks, Web Components, TypeScript, LESS/SASS
18. Experience with PHPUnit, PlayWright, Jenkins, Docker, and PHPStan
19. Experience with PHP 8 and MySQL is preferred
