42.5 Hours per week - Monday to Friday

Your Responsibilities
As a Site Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a £50M+ new build education facility in Dalkeith. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Managing and directing subcontractor partners under the guidance of the project manager to ensure work packages are delivered safely and to high-quality standards.
* Assessing subcontractor work to ensure alignment with project timelines, design drawings, and quality benchmarks.
* Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe working practices.
* Conducting toolbox talks and site inductions to maintain compliance with Kier standards.
* Coordinating site logistics, including the movement of plant and labor, while ensuring safety is prioritized.
* Reporting any issues or delays to the Senior Site/Project Manager.
* Liaising with the project design manager to provide necessary information.
* Creating, logging, and filing site reports and paperwork accurately and promptly.
* Collaborating with the project team to find solutions to any technical or logistical challenges that arise on site.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree) in construction management or a similar field.
* A technical trade backed by appropriate accreditation (SVQ or equivalent).
* SMSTS 5 Day Certificate, CSCS Card, and First Aid Certificate.
* A valid driving license.
* Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
