Position Purpose
Support the development, implementation and on-going review of commercial, compliant and business-relevant reward strategies, policies and programmes which attract, retain and develop talented individuals.
Major/Key Accountabilities
1. Provide guidance and technical advice to business management and the wider HR team on the full range of reward, compensation, and benefits matters. Respond to queries concerning issues of pay and assist with alignment to the compensation philosophy and pay equity legislation.
2. Perform job evaluations across the organisation with reference to Hay/Kornferry grading methodology, requiring full and frequent contact with HR regionally in order to maintain and ensure cross-organisational parity and a consistency in approach to the weighting of levelling factors and ensuring alignment with our skills-based Job Architecture.
3. Continually monitor and be aware of developments in the legislative and economic environment and keep abreast of market changes, highlighting issues and recommending changes whenever appropriate.
4. Support HRBPs and the business to ensure engagement and compliance with incoming Pay Transparency legislation, implementing change activities and advising / guiding teams as appropriate.
5. Conduct analysis, groundwork research and project management on Reward projects. Support global reward projects and initiatives to deliver an enhanced Reward function with new ways of working.
6. Manage and oversee DB & DC pension schemes and Insurance provision including relationships with the Global broker, all vendors and local country HR teams.
7. Work with the HRIS team to develop the future compensation technology roadmap as part of the drive to greater transparency and employee self-service.
8. Work in conjunction with HR Shared Services to ensure the highest level of service delivery to the business is achieved and continuous improvement is maintained with respect to CoE related tasks and policy standards
Experience
9. Experience in a broad range of remuneration & benefits functions and modern rewards methodology / flexible working remuneration principles
10. Experience in the use of the Hay / Korn Ferry job evaluation system
11. Experience, within a large complex fast-paced global business would be ideal.
12. Strong project management skills, work organisation & planning skills
13. Have experience in rolling out Rewards and Benefits programs.
Skills and Knowledge
14. Exceptional Stakeholder management skills to collaborate with HR and business teams to deliver priorities and influence positive outcomes.
15. Strong problem solving and numerical skills, supported by a particularly high level of competency with Excel: confident using vlookups, pivot tables and graphical presentation.
16. Strong project management ability, be able to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
17. Presentation / marketing / communication skills, to be able to explain complex rewards concepts to a very diverse employees’ group (different cultural background with varying levels of English ability).
18. Possesses good judgment; willing to challenge and guide internal clients and HR colleagues where necessary.
19. Good commercial awareness and able to align reward policy to business objectives, making sound decisions on sensitive topics and maintaining the highest standards of quality and confidentiality.
20. Maintains pride in the quality of their delivery at work with an acute attention to detail.
