I am currently working with an ambitious law firm that has recently expanded into the City of London. The firm’s highly regarded Employment Department is renowned for delivering exceptional client service and achieving strong commercial results. They are now seeking a talented employment lawyer to join their team.
About the role

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to manage both transactional and advisory work seamlessly, and passionate about developing existing and new client relationships. Candidate
* Minimum of 4 years PQE with strong technical knowledge of employment law
* Extensive experience in respondent-based matters such as corporate support, dismissals, redundancies, restructuring, restrictive covenants, and general employment issues
* Demonstrable enthusiasm for client care, relationship building, and business development
* Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and supervise junior team members
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commercial awareness with a good understanding of financial fundamentals
* Passionate about contributing to the firm’s growth and expansion
Key Responsibilities
* Manage instructions in accordance with firm procedures, quality standards, and risk protocols
* Assist with marketing activities and develop professional relationships with referrers and clients
* Collaborate across departments and promote cross-referrals within the firm
* Actively identify and attend networking opportunities to generate new business
* Oversee financial management of legal matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
* Support team members during busy periods and take ownership of delegated tasks
* Engage in ongoing training and professional development
* Uphold the firm’s core values and branding
* Supervise junior staff or legal assistants as appropriate
