This hybrid role is a perfect blend of hands-on kitchen leadership (50%) and strategic back-office coordination (50%) - no two days are ever the same! The Role at a Glance You'll take the reins of daily operations, guide a passionate kitchen team, deliver top-tier food experiences, and lead performance on both the culinary and business fronts. What You'll Be Doing Preparing delicious hot and cold dishes for breakfast, salad bar, and lunchtime service Leading and coordinating your team with confidence and care Planning, delegating, and ensuring all food is prepared to high standards using set recipes Managing hospitality for events and internal functions Keeping stock fresh and organised, placing orders, and handling paperwork like a pro Handling customer feedback and turning challenges into opportunities Mentoring team members and fostering growth through hands-on training Building strong client relationships and reporting monthly operational & financial performance What's In It for You £32,000-£34,000 salary (DOE) Free meals on site Free on-site parking in Cambridge Pension, life assurance & generous holidays (with option to buy more!)
