HR Manager (Mat Cover): 6-12 month fixed-term contract As the HR Manager, you will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organisation on strategic initiatives. As this role is a Maternity cover, you'll help to enhance the firms human resources by planning and implementing HR policies, programs and best practices. Responsibilities: Support and manage Payroll and benefits for employees. Recruit and onboarding of new hires. Conduct performance management and get involved in various projects including benchmarking, retention and long service awards, benefits reviews etc. Maintain up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice. Ensure that all HR matters are handled confidentially and consistently. Skills & Experience: Proven HR generalist experience. Ability to communicate HR related issues with senior management, including financial aspects. 5 years' experience in Human Resources Experience in developing and supporting line managers is critical. Exceptional organisational and communication skills. Self-starter and able to work under own autonomy. Solid working knowledge of employment legislation and its application in a small business
