Senior Developer (VP) – Commodities Markets

Are you a hands-on developer with strong C#/.NET expertise and experience working directly with trading desks? This is a high-impact role where your work will sit at the core of Commodities trading, supporting real-time decision-making in a front-office environment.

Key requirements (must-have)
* Strong experience in C# / .NET development
* Solid banking background with exposure to Front Office environments
* Good understanding of derivatives and options (Greeks, pricing, curves)
* Experience within Commodities markets (highly preferred)
* Mid–Senior level experience with proven ownership of systems
What you’ll be doing
* Partner with Front Office users to gather, analyse, and anticipate business needs
* Design and deliver custom proximity applications for trading and risk
* Evaluate and propose multiple technical solutions to support business decisions
* Build and maintain robust, scalable systems in a production environment
* Provide hands-on support for business-critical trading tools
* Drive continuous improvement through enhancements, bug fixes, and optimisation
* Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
* Collaborate with Quants, MO/BO teams, and global IT stakeholders
Technical environment
* C# / .NET Core, Entity Framework
* WPF (or similar desktop UI frameworks)
* Angular (nice to have)
* SQL Server, MongoDB
* Microservices & containerisation
* Market data integration (Bloomberg, Reuters)
