Site Manager needed at Emsworth (PO10)
* Contract: Permanent and Part-Time
* Hours of work: 25 hours per week, 10.00am – 3.30pm (5 hours per day plus 30 minute lunch break) – 5 hours per day plus 1 additional week during holidays. There may be some flexibility regarding working hours and holiday hours can be compressed.
* Monday – Friday term time plus 1 additional week, times to be agreed
* Salary: Grade D, Step 1 £15, FTE £26,918.00)
The appointed candidate will play a central role in the day-to-day running and overall management of the school site, ensuring that our facilities remain safe, efficient, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors alike.
A strong background in coordinating maintenance and repair schedules will be highly valued. Working as a key member of our site team, you will take responsibility for building upkeep, compliance requirements, contractor liaison, and contributing to the school's long-term site development.
Responsible for: Site Assistant, a small team of cleaners, a minibus driver
An important aspect of this post is leading on health and safety across the site. Applicants should demonstrate a sound understanding of current legislation, procedures, and best practice, as well as strong communication skills.
