Overview
Quality Manager – West Midlands – Chemical Manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager (or a strong Quality professional ready to step up) to lead a well-established Quality team within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role will suit someone with the confidence, leadership style and resilience to drive quality standards in a fast-paced, production-driven business.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a small, capable Quality team
* Strengthen internal and external auditing processes
* Manage customer complaints and provide professional, solutions-focused responses
* Ensure compliance across quality systems while maintaining a pragmatic, commercial approach
* Act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders on quality issues
What we\'re looking for
* Proven leadership or management experience in Quality (open to QC backgrounds across industries)
* Strong auditing experience (internal/external)
* Complaint handling and customer-facing experience
* A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a solutions-first approach
* Ability to balance quality with production demands in a practical way
