Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded and proactiveSales Executiveto help grow Allergy UKs income through strategic partnerships and product endorsements. This role is central to our mission ensuring no one dies from allergy and that everyone in the UK takes allergy seriously.
As part of theEndorsements Team, youll focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities, nurturing relationships, and feeding qualified leads into the Corporate Partnerships pipeline. Youll also support events and campaigns that raise awareness and generate income for our work.
About the Endorsements Department
The Endorsements Team is a small, dynamic unit made up of aCommercial Director, Head of Endorsements, anAccount Manager, and this role of Sales Executive. Together, we collaborate with independent consultants and specialist testing labs to assess and approve products for Allergy UKs Endorsement Schemes.
We work with companies that are committed to supporting people living with allergies, helping them promote products that genuinely improve quality of life, whether by reducing allergens in the environment or offering low-allergen alternatives.
Our endorsement is more than just a badge; its a scientifically backed mark of trust. An internationally recognised and trusted licence.
The Endorsements team operates under Allergy Research Limited (ARL), the commercial subsidiary of The British Allergy Foundation. ARL donates all profit to the Foundation to support its vital services, research, and resources for people living with allergies.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
Deliver compelling presentations to onboard new clients
Drive sales through targeted outreach
Negotiate contracts and closes deals
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Act as a liaison between ARL and external stakeholders to endure endorsed product visibility and trust
Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues as needed.
Report trends and feedback to the Commercial Director and the wider endorsement team.
Ensure that all sales activities align with the endorsement guidelines and ethical standards of ARL
When required, represent ARL at Trade shows and allergy related events
Meet and exceed sales targets linked to the endorsed product lines
Maintain accurate records using Salesforce, Conga Sign, Excel, and Xero, client interaction and performance metrics
Maintain up to date knowledge of the endorsement criteria, its benefits and market relevance

Essential Skills & Experience
Proven success in business development or sales (min. 2 years).
Confident in presenting and explaining product details
Builds trust with clients
Active listening to understand client needs and respond effectively
Confident in lead generation and client engagement.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Understands the sales cycle and how to tailor approaches to different stakeholders.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Desirable
Experience in corporate fundraising or the charity sector.
Understanding of stakeholder engagement in a nonprofit context.
