Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to a high standard Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., doors, locks, fixtures) Perform basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs (where appropriate) Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance issues Assemble and install furniture, fittings, and equipment Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete tasks within deadlines Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience: Proven experience as a Painter, Handyman, or relevant role Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Good communication and customer service skills Physically fit and capable of manual work Relevant qualifications or trade certifications Experience in both residential and commercial settings Knowledge of UK health and safety standards
