What you’ll do
We’re looking for a motivated Site Manager to strengthen our Rail & Infrastructure team. This is a hybrid role, with a balance of working from home and being out on-site, giving you the best of both worlds.
In this key position, you’ll work closely with the Contracts Manager to deliver a variety of arboriculture projects across the North. From structure clearances to larger project works, your arboriculture knowledge will be essential in keeping our projects safe, efficient and on track.
* Supporting the Contracts Manager with day-to-day operations.
* Carrying out regular site audits and inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
* Managing varying workloads and providing support and guidance to field-based teams.
* Pricing work, scoping sites, and developing detailed task briefs.
* Using online work trackers and IT systems to plan, monitor and report on progress.
* Engaging with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout.
* Planning possessions effectively to minimise disruption and maximise productivity.
* Overseeing project delivery, resolving issues promptly to keep work moving smoothly.
What we’re looking for
We’re especially keen to hear from experienced Site Managers with:
* Arboriculture background
* SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, First Aid + F, and COSS qualifications
* Strong IT skills with confidence using digital trackers, reporting tools and systems
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing workloads
* A proactive approach to safety, leadership, and client care
