Newport, UK, United Kingdom | HR Job Description Defining, implementing and/or maintaining overarching HR strategy, policies, and guidelines for VISHAY or assigned entities. Planning and coordinating, and/or implementing HR projects and processes (i.e., programs, initiatives, and surveys, etc). Ensuring HR operations and matters (i.e., performance mgmt., leaves or disciplinary matters, disputes, legal claims, etc.) Identifying organization staffing and recruiting needs, and ensuring or executes effective recruitment programs. Ensuring utilization, or effectively utilizing HR systems and tools (e.g. HRIS systems, HR cloud services, etc) Monitoring and ensuring the organization’s compliance with employment laws and regulations. A job at this level… Consults with stakeholder in management on how to run and to utilize available services to generate maximum benefits. Monitors efficiency and effectiveness of function-specific services or processes deployed, creates reports for basic management decisions. May act as business partner for a large local, regional or similarly complex business organization. Continuously watches out for options to improve function-specific services or processes, and proposes respective projects. May act as project manager for local to regional change or improvement projects, and coordinates internal and external resources involved. Ensures adherence to agreed budgets, resources, as well as to given principle standards and limits.
