Responsibilities
* Grow new business across the retail, hospitality and leisure industries
* Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls and lead follow-ups
* Effective customer management, through developing and maintaining relationships and developing additional leads
* Develop efficient communication techniques to grow business through; networking, email, social media, referrals, events & sector-specific fairs
* Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
* Maintaining and improving the database of prospects
* Researching for new leads
* Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
Requirements
* A good and demonstrable background in B2B sales
* Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets, preferably via telephone (not essential)
* A team player, working for the overall success of the business
* Excellent customer service skills
* Exceptional telephone manner and interpersonal skills
* Experience working with telephones and handling multiple calls and emails daily
* Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
* Patience, time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
* Proactive attitude, with a drive for success
