Site Manager
Location: UK Wide (Site Based)
Sector: Defence / Data Centres / Industrial Construction
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Package
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering projects across the defence, data centre and energy sectors.
This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of projects ranging from refurbishments and fit outs through to new build schemes up to £10m in value. You’ll play a key role in managing site delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
* Managing day-to-day site operations and subcontractors.
* Coordinating trades and project activities on site.
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with programme.
* Maintaining quality control and compliance standards.
* Delivering toolbox talks and site inductions.
* Managing site records, diaries and project documentation.
* Monitoring subcontractor performance and progress.
* Supporting procurement and material coordination.
* Liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
* Managing health & safety and ensuring RAMS compliance.
About You
* Experience as a Site Manager within a contractor environment.
* Background in commercial, industrial, defence or data centre projects preferred.
* Strong understanding of construction methods and sequencing.
* Good health & safety knowledge and site coordination ability.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential.
