Quality Manager
Offering Circa. £55,000 - £60,000 Basic Salary plus Excellent Benefits!
Our client is a well-established engineering manufacturing company, currently recruiting a Quality Manager, to drive quality standards and continuous improvement across the business. The successful candidate will develop, implement, maintain and monitor our client’s quality systems and processes to ensure a reliable Right First Time product is delivered to customers, meeting all expectation. The Quality Manager will support the Senior Management team on all quality matters and help drive business initiatives that result in meeting organisational targets and customer satisfaction.
Quality Manager - Responsibilities
* Identify and develop quality procedures and documents as needed to ensure effective operation of processes.
* Provide oversight, direction and leadership to quality team members and other key stakeholders on quality matters.
* Support the implementation of the HSQE strategy and management of the function on a daily basis, taking ownership of all Quality aspects of the improvement plan.
* Provide appropriate reporting to the board on Quality topics.
* Support the development and management of the HSEQ budget, providing meaningful analysis and data.
* Plan and conduct quality assurance activities at product, process and system levels to identify levels of conformance and opportunities for improvement.
* Proactively identify and drive improvements where quality issues are identified, working collaboratively with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders as needed to provide issue resolution.
* Lead the Non-Conforming Report and Root Cause Analysis processes, ensuring year on year improvements, and full engagement of all contributing areas.
* Identify, lead and contribute to improvement projects as needed to support continuous improvement.
* Identify and deliver training to departmental managers in quality topics such as non-conformance management.
* Develop and deliver effective communications across the business such as alerts, shared learning and toolbox talks relevant to quality topics.
* Actively participate in driving continual improvement of a positive behaviour culture.
Quality Manager – Candidate
* An experienced Quality Manager with a proven track record gained within a manufacturing, heavy engineering or high-risk environment.
* Experienced implementing quality systems and driving continuous improvement.
* Experienced leading NCR and RCA processes.
* ISO 9000:2015 Lead Auditor - ideal.
The Quality Manager position is offering Circa. £55,000 - £60,000 basic salary plus excellent benefits! Due to the requirements of the role, there will be a need to travel to customer and supplier sites on occasion. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm based at our client’s North Yorkshire site.
