My forward-thinking and innovative client is looking for a Regional HR Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Lead on the development and implementation of HR change projects. Lead with Union negotiations utilising a strongly developed relationship. Lead on restructuring projects. Proactively build awareness of relevant risks and opportunities within the regions and wider business in relation to people. Drive the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda across all areas of responsibility by supporting and encouraging involvement. Drive the Diversity & Inclusion journey along side the regional leadership team Lead on the development and embedding of new HR/business procedures or initiatives as necessary. Drive the understanding of the importance of talent management, including the utilisation of the succession management process. Lead on key recruitment activities, particularly at a senior level. Drive understanding with the HR team and wider business stakeholders about utilising HR Key Performance Indicators to develop programs of activity to eliminate key problem areas in the businesses such as high absence, high labour turnover etc. Be a key member of the regional/business management teams and attend the management meetings and other relevant meetings. Write clear, data driven monthly people plan reports. Lead on internal HR orientated internal audits as appropriate. Other tasks as may from time to time be deemed necessary and are authorised by line managers.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hold a CIPD Qualification Experience of leading and managing change at a regional business partnering level Experience of using management information to influence regional people plans and strategies. Experience of writing data-based reports that are used to inform and influence thepany's people strategy. Experience of union negotiation Strong influencing skills utilised to move the dial on change and other improvement projects. Confident public speaker fortablemunicating at all levels including presenting to the Board. Full driving licence fortable with regular travel and nights away from home
What you'll get in return
Your salary will range from £45,000 - £50,000 + £4,800 car allowance. Additional benefits include: health cash plans, private medical insurance for family, 3% pension contribution, expenses paid for all travel, aodation and food.
