Senior Developer – Node.Js, React, Restful API's
Central Birmingham (Hybrid, 1 Day Onsite per Week)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Excellent Benefits

A leading enterprise software company is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join its Birmingham-based development team. This hybrid role offers a strong balance of flexibility and collaboration, with just one day per week in the city centre office.
The successful candidate will design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance applications, working across the full stack using Node.js, React, and TypeScript. The role involves building and maintaining RESTful APIs, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments, and ensuring high code quality through automated testing.
Key Requirements

1. 5+ years’ commercial experience with Node.js and React
2. Strong experience developing RESTful APIs
3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Azure DevOps
4. Experience using testing frameworks
Core Responsibilities
5. Develop, maintain, and enhance cloud-based applications and services
6. Work across the full stack with a focus on Node.js and React
7. Collaborate with designers, product owners, and engineers in an Agile environment
8. Design and deliver reliable APIs and services using RESTful architecture
9. Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure reliability and maintainability
10. Use Git for version control and Azure DevOps for task tracking and estimation
