Our client is a dynamic and innovative company specialising in software solutions. They are dedicated to leveraging technology to optimise business processes and enhance productivity. They are currently seeking a skilled FileMaker Developer to join their team and contribute to their growing suite of custom database solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
? Design, develop, and maintain FileMaker database applications tailored to business needs.
? Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
? Create and implement custom scripts, layouts, and calculations to enhance database functionality.
? Integrate FileMaker applications with other software systems and third-party APIs.
? Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
? Document development processes, configurations, and user guides.
? Assist in project planning, timelines, and status reporting.
Qualifications:
? Proven experience as a FileMaker Developer.
? Proficiency in FileMaker Pro Advanced, including Scripting, calculations, and relational database design.
? Strong understanding of database security, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting.
? Experience integrating FileMaker with external data sources and APIs.
? Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
? Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
? Knowledge of SQL and other database management systems.
? Experience with mobile and web application development.
? Understanding of Agile development methodologies
