White Horse Employment are working exclusively with a rapidly growing organisation within the civil engineering and construction sector to recruit an HR Administrator.
Based in a modern head office environment in the South Cotswolds, this business supports major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK and is experiencing an exciting period of expansion. As a result, they are looking to strengthen their HR team with a proactive and highly organised individual.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of a fast‑paced workforce, ensuring that all HR administration is delivered accurately and in line with weekly payroll and operational deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing onboarding administration for site operatives, including Right to Work checks, issuing contracts, and gathering references
* Supporting ongoing HR administration such as pay rate changes, employment letters, and holiday requests
* Liaising with HR, Operations, Payroll, Recruitment, and Training teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll
* Managing and responding to HR inbox queries
* Maintaining and updating employee records and personnel data
* Acting as a key point of contact for site‑based construction operatives
* Providing general administrative support to the HR function as required
About You
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, operational environment
* Confident communicator, both via email and telephone
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Previous administrative experience is desirable
* A proactive team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
