A well-established and reputable main contractor with a strong presence across Scotland is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support the delivery of a key education project in Edinburgh. The business has an excellent track record in delivering high-quality construction and landscaping works across both public and private sectors. You will be joining a live project at Currie High School, overseeing both hard and soft landscaping packages. This will include supervision of subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.Day-to-day responsibilities will include site coordination, health & safety compliance, progress reporting, and maintaining strong communication with the wider project team. Have proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within landscaping or external works packages Hold valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications Be confident managing subcontractors and maintaining high HSEQ standards In return, you will secure a minimum 12-week freelance assignment with a respected contractor on a well-run project.
