We are looking for a dynamic, experienced sales individual to join our well-established, highly accomplished and expanding sales team to develop new business and grow existing accounts.


In this exciting and stimulating role, you will have the task of constructing and sustaining long-term strategic partnerships with both direct clients and media agencies.


You will be providing prospective clients with solutions that align with their needs and commercial objectives, maximising market share through upselling to existing customers, and working in collaboration with internal departments to keep track of campaign progress and updating clients.


Travel Gossip is a work-from-home based company and we’re seeking an individual with exceptional drive and enthusiasm who will relish working in a fast-paced, competitive sector.


About the role:


* Responsible for obtaining new customers and reawakening dormant clients by forging relationships through effective business growth and excellent customer service
* Identify prospective clients and new areas of lead generation to cultivate new opportunities and revenue growth
* Proactively create professional, bespoke proposals for potential and existing clients
* Gather in-depth market knowledge of key decision-makers, budget holders, budget dates and upcoming RFPs within our sector
* Provide new and existing clients with proactive support and attentive account management
* Effectively and diligently ulitilise the company’s CRM system
* Educate new and existing customers on our diverse and award-winning portfolio of products
* Attend event and conferences in the UK and overseas
* Support the sales funnel through effective social media activity
* Exceed sales targets and KPIs


About you:


* Minimum of 2-years sales experience
* Extensive client-facing experience, with a background in account management
* Adept in building and maintaining meaningful connections with potential customers throughout the whole sales process, from initial contact to successful completion.
* Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail and exceptional written English
* Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement
* Digital and social media savvy
* Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and experience in using a CRM system
* Friendly, approachable, outgoing with a professional manner and the capability to confidently network at events
* A creative-thinker and problem-solver, enabling you to secure business from new and existing clients
* Experience in dealing with, or working in, businesses within the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors, or in travel trade media sales is preferred, but not essential

£35,000 plus commission OTE £55,000 per annum.
