Sodexo – Weekend Cook role in Manchester, United Kingdom. This is a part-time position supporting the preparation and cooking of meals for residents and staff in a fixed location, with lone-working responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Independently prepare and cook a variety of meals according to scheduled menus for residents and staff.
* Manage your own schedule and kitchen operations, ensuring meals are prepared and served on time with minimal supervision.
* Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in all areas, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
* Restock essential kitchen supplies like ingredients, utensils, and cleaning products.
* Communicate with site staff and other departments as needed, providing updates and ensuring smooth operations.
* Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times, ensuring compliance while working alone.
What You Bring
* Previous experience in a cooking or catering role is essential, along with knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently while working alone.

* Hours: 10 hours per week
* Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 09:00 – 14:00
* Pay: £12.31 per hour
