<div><p>We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded HR Manager to join a well-established professional services organisation based in Birmingham on a full time, permanent basis.</p><p>This is a broad and varied role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day HR function while working closely with senior leadership to deliver people initiatives that support business growth, employee engagement, and organisational performance.</p><p>As a trusted advisor to managers and employees, you will play a key role in shaping a positive employee experience, driving best practice, and ensuring compliance across all areas of HR.</p><h3>As HR Manager, youll be responsible for:</h3><h3>HR Strategy and Operations</h3><ul><li>Partner with senior leaders to support the delivery of people strategies aligned to business objectives</li><li>Use HR data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities</li><li>Oversee HR systems, processes, and employee records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency</li><li>Support workforce planning, budgeting, and resource management activities</li><li>Monitor trainee and apprentice development, ensuring progress and performance objectives are achieved</li></ul><h3>Employee Relations</h3><ul><li>Provide expert advice on employment law and HR best practice</li><li>Manage a range of employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance cases</li><li>Review and enhance policies and procedures to support business needs</li><li>Ensure HR processes are applied consistently and effectively across the organisation</li></ul><h3>Recruitment and Talent</h3><ul><li>Lead recruitment activities, partnering with hiring managers and external agencies</li><li>Develop attraction strategies across multiple channels to secure high-quality talent</li><li>Ensure an excellent candidate and onboarding experience</li><li>Identify and deliver learning and development initiatives that support employee growth and organisational capability</li></ul><h3>Engagement, Performance and Reward</h3><ul><li>Lead employee engagement initiatives and support action planning following survey feedback</li><li>Support reward, recognition, and retention activities</li><li>Manage and continually improve performance review processes</li><li>Coach and support managers in effective performance management practices</li><li>Coordinate payroll submissions with external providers</li></ul><h3>Leadership and Stakeholder Management</h3><ul><li>Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the business</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop members of the HR team</li><li>Manage relationships with external providers, including recruitment and training partners</li><li>Contribute to wider business initiatives, employee wellbeing activities, and company events</li></ul><h3>As HR Manager, you must be/have:</h3><ul><li>CIPD qualification, degree, or equivalent HR experience</li><li>A minimum of 5 years HR experience, including at least 2 years operating at HR Manager level</li><li>Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation</li><li>Experience within a commercial or professional services environment</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills</li><li>Confidence using HR systems and people data to support decision-making</li><li>A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach</li></ul><h3>Whats on Offer?</h3><ul><li>Salary of up to £50,000</li><li>Flexi-working environment</li><li>Enhanced Employer Pension Contribution</li><li>Use of benefits platform</li><li>Life assurance</li><li>Flexible working Structure: Flex-e</li><li>Private Medical Insurance, provided by Vitality</li><li>Medical Cash Plan, provided by Health Shield</li><li>Comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)</li><li>Supportive and collaborative culture</li><li>Varied and strategic HR role with genuine autonomy</li><li>Career development opportunities within a growing organisation</li></ul><p>If youre an experienced HR professional looking for a broad and rewarding role where you can make a real impact, wed love to hear from you.</p></div>
