We're looking for a Quality Manager to join our Kier Places team based in Reading, Berkshire.
Hours: 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
What will you be responsible for?
The role of the Quality Manager is to support project teams with technical advice and guidance to support the error-free delivery of our operations. The role will involve undertaking inspections and audits and advising teams on the outcomes of the findings.
Your day-to-day will include:
1. Supporting the project delivery team and supply chain with planning for error-free delivery of the facilities we build, particularly through the creation and use of quality documentation, such as Inspection and Test Plans.
2. Supporting the delivery team to achieve compliance against the specifications through research and knowledge of construction products, components, and processes.
3. Undertaking technical audits to monitor compliance and developing action plans to address any non-conformances.
4. Identifying trends in non-conformance reports and developing strategies to address any issues arising.
5. Supporting site teams with expertise and guidance regarding project execution and quality plans.

This role of Quality Manager is ideal if:
1. You have significant experience in Quality Control on construction projects.
2. You have experience delivering projects in secured environments.
3. You have the ability to research, interpret, and report on quality data and findings.
