Job Title: Internal Recruiter - Renewables
Location: Leeds (Hybrid working available after qualifying period) Salary: up to 30k + Benefits Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and passionate Internal Recruiter to join our newly re-launched recruitment team in Leeds, to drive the talent acquisition across the renewable energy sector. You'll play a key role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent to drive our mission of building a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles across the renewables division, including engineering, project management, operations, and support functions.
* Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
* Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and internal databases.
* Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate the selection process.
* Maintain and update the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) which has yet to be implemented and ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
* Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
* Promote employer branding initiatives and support recruitment marketing campaigns.
* Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
* Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within the renewables, energy, or engineering sectors.
* Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
* Managing the full recruitment process
* Providing feedback throughout the employment journey
* Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
* Passion for sustainability and the renewable energy industry.
Desirable:
* Experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g., wind, solar, battery storage).
* CIPD or relevant HR/recruitment qualification.
* Understanding of diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
