New Opportunity: HR Manager – £40,000
Goldhawk Associates is supporting an organisation in sourcing an HR Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. Role Overview: This is a key HR leadership role, responsible for managing day-to-day operations while aligning people practices with organisational strategy. You’ll play a central role in supporting a motivated and high-performing team while championing wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion.
Location: Largely remote-based with ad hoc travel to Rochester and other regional sites
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time)
Contract: 12-month fixed term (maternity cover)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee all aspects of day-to-day HR operations
2. Drive and embed people initiatives aligned with strategic goals
3. Support the development of an inclusive and high-performing culture
4. Oversee internal health and safety responsibilities
5. Guide and support HR team members, including L&D and coordination staff
What We’re Looking For:
6. Strong generalist background with experience across the full HR lifecycle
7. Previous involvement in TUPE processes is highly desirable
8. Proven ability to manage and inspire a small HR team
9. Comfortable with hybrid working and quick to adapt
