Role: Senior Quality Manager (Quality Engineering)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality across complex, safety-critical defence and maritime projects. This is a senior management role, responsible for managing a team of engineers, inspectors, and technicians, and ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and compliant systems.
The successful candidate will:
* Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
* Drive a culture of quality, compliance, and operational excellence across both engineering and manufacturing teams.
* Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and programme management to ensure projects meet all regulatory and performance requirements.
* Apply hands-on manufacturing experience to support production and process improvement initiatives.
* Act as a confident, autonomous leader, capable of influencing and standing tall with senior executives, including VP and Director-level stakeholders.
* Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team while managing supplier quality and conducting audits.
