Job Description:
Lead the strategic direction of all aspects of engineering services, creating a culture of exceptional service delivery focused on enhancing the visitor experience.
The estate of the Royal Ballet & Opera comprises three sites: the main site in Covent Garden, which includes a 2,000+ seated theatre dating from 1858, along with redeveloped stage, rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms, workshops, offices, and ancillary spaces completed in 1999; a second theatre and refreshed front of house spaces delivered via the Open Project in 2018; the Production Workshop and Costume Centre in Thurrock, Essex; and a 14,000m2 store in Aberdare, Wales.
These facilities support a complex production schedule and the work of thousands of staff, artists, and creative personnel to stage opera and ballet to exacting standards.
