Freelance Site Manager – Glasgow Contract: Temporary 6 - 8 weeks Rate: £25.00 per hour About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential construction site in Glasgow on behalf of a leading national house builder. This is a temporary contract role. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities Ensure projects are completed on time, to budget, and in line with company quality standards Maintain excellent health and safety standards across the site Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure work is progressing efficiently Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings Maintain accurate site records and reporting Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential house building SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications (essential) Strong leadership and communication skills Solid knowledge of NHBC standards and current building regulations Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple trades on a busy site What We Offer: Opportunity to work with a well-established national house builder Competitive day rate with weekly pay Potential for contract extension or a new role upon completion How to Apply: If you’re a driven Site Manager with a passion for delivering quality homes and are available for a temporary opportunity in Glasgow, we’d love to hear from you.
