Are you reading to enjoy the Essex Countryside I am working with an established leisure and hospitality estate set within over 300 acres of beautiful countryside, offering a unique mix of golf, fitness, dining, and event experiences. They are adding to the commercial team and are looking for a Weddings and Events Sales Executive to help grow the weddings, conferences, and private event business.
What youll be doing
* Proactively sell meeting and event spaces, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings to achieve revenue targets.
* Manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to event delivery, ensuring every experience is memorable.
* Conduct site visits and show rounds for prospective clients and agents.
* Maximise every sales opportunity through effective up:selling and cross:selling of services.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
* Respond promptly to enquiries from various online platforms.
* Focus areas include weddings, celebrations, wakes, conferences, and corporate events.
About You
* Previous sales experience within a leisure, hospitality, or event setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
* High standard of written English and attention to detail.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Professional, proactive, and personable approach.
