Senior Site Manager
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary: Up to £65,000 plus £5,000 car allowance
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility available)
Job Type: Full-time, site-based
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a well-established, family-run contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and promoting work-life balance. This is an excellent opportunity to lead Design and Build new build and refurbishment schemes within 1.5 hours of Luton.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and safe systems of work
* Drive site productivity and deliver projects on time and within budget
* Manage activities to meet contract and cost constraints
* Minimize environmental and community impact
* Coordinate stakeholders and maintain clear communication
* Guarantee top-quality project delivery
Requirements
* Proven experience managing projects up to £5m with general contractors
* Strong refurbishment background (mixed experience is a plus)
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety and ISO standards
* Leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* SMSTS and First Aid certification
* Black CSCS card (construction-related NVQ at Level 5, 6, or 7)
