Passive Fire Site Manager We are looking for experienced Passive Fire Site Manager. Whats on offer: Market-leading base salary (weekly pay), with opportunities for overtime Genuine opportunity for career progression, with >70% of our Contract Managers and Supervisors starting life as engineers with RGE Above-average total holiday allowance of 33 days Free company van, fuel card, and plant tools The ideal Passive Fire Site Manager will be able to: Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure all on-site works meet industry regulations, fire safety standards, and contractual specifications. Manage and oversee compliance records and QA documentation. Coordinate and manage the schedule of supervisors to conduct timely post-installation inspections. Ensure operatives are briefed and kept up to date with technical specifications and installation methods. Operational Delivery Management Work closely with the Project Manager to implement and maintain the programme of works. Monitor progress and ensure works are completed within deadlines and to the required quality standard. Supervise and coordinate the work of direct labour operatives, supervisors, and sub-contractors. Deliver resident communication (e.g., hand-delivering notices) and act as the first point of contact on-site for tenant queries or concerns. Health & Safety Management Ensure the on-site health & safety file is kept accurate and up to date. Carry out regular checks to ensure site safety rules are being adhered to by all personnel. Complete dynamic risk assessments as required, adapting to evolving site conditions. Monitor site set-up and welfare facilities to ensure they meet required standards. Able to write and deliver TBT Store and Material Management Monitor and manage stock levels according to project needs. Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure that relevant materials and fire-rated components (e.g., fire doors, intumescent products) are on-site in line with the programme of works. Client & Resident Relations Foster strong working relationships with clients, housing officers, and residents. Represent the company during site walk-arounds and progress inspections with clients. Communicate clearly and empathetically with residents, many of whom may be vulnerable or at risk. Qualifications required for a Passive Fire Site Manager : Essential Proven experience in a similar Site Manager role within the passive fire protection or fire safety industry. Experience working on large-scale social housing or public sector projects. Strong understanding of fire stopping systems, fire door installation, and relevant regulations (e.g., BS 476, ASFP standards). Excellent knowledge of health & safety procedures (SMSTS or SSSTS preferred). Effective leadership, team coordination, and scheduling skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage both operatives and clients. Desirable Fire safety or construction-related qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4, IFE, ASFP Level 2). Experience working with vulnerable tenants, care settings, or supported housing. Familiarity with site management software or QA tracking platforms.
